India Vs Sri Lanka: Eight Indian players to miss the second and third T20s:- The coronavirus scare created tremors among the Indian players after Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya was tested positive for coronavirus. The second T20 international between India and Sri Lanka was scheduled to commence yesterday and it was postponed after Krunal Pandya was tested positive. The eight squad members who are in contact with the youngster are asked to stay away from the second and third T20 internationals. The second T20 will take place this evening. Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Prithvi Shaw, Deepak Chahar, K Gowtham, Ishan Kishan, Yuzvendra Chahal are sent to isolation.

Ishan Porel, Sandeep Warrier, Arshdeep Singh, Sai Kishore, Simarjeet Singh will be playing the rest of the matches for Team India. India is leading the three T20 series with 1-0 and an official announcement was made this afternoon to keep speculations to a rest. BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced that the second T20 match will happen today. The entire team and squad took up RT-PCR tests and the results are negative. The BCCI is yet to reveal about the isolation time for the eight Indian players. There are talks that Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav will join the Indian team in England very soon. The Sri Lankan team players are completely safe and their tests are reported negative as per the update.

Indian players Shubman Gill, Washington Sundar and Avesh Khan are out of the England series due to injuries and BCCI informed that Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav will replace them soon.
