Samsung Galaxy S IV has 8 cores?

The rumor mill had a hard time over the past few weeks from being burdened with lots of news about the Samsung Galaxy S IV but it is now put to rest with the official announcement made by Samsung themselves regarding the phone's launch. An invite insinuating the launch of their greatest mobile yet on March 14 has been making the users restless with anxiety.

People were eagerly waiting for the specifications of the phone, pricing and other such details to decide whether to buy these phones or the ones that are already in the market. They can now decide to wait since the greatest and fastest smartphone of all, at least on paper, is going to be out soon. AnTuTu benchmarks have released the Samsung Galaxy S IV's performance rating online. This rating has broken the record of the earlier best, Xiaomi MI2 which had a rating just over 20,000 with a great margin of 5000 points approximately. (an average dual core phone has a 5000 point rating).

Not only the performance, but the hardware under the chip has been revealed to be Exynos 1.8Ghz processor with eight-cores as opposed to the quadcore and Qualcomm processor reports that were earlier reported. The device has full HD 4.99 inch touch screen supporting a resolution of 1920x1080p for a life like experience with the colors. JellyBean 4.2 will make its debut on the Samsung platform with this phone.

With a 24,894 rating on the benchmark test, it is virtually impossible for the other phones yet to beat it. 13 MP camera, LED flash, 2.1MP front Camera, 2GB RAM, 16 and 32GB inbuilt memory GSM, CDMA and LTE apart from Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0 is more than you can ask for. Wait for a couple of weeks and you won't be disappointed with Samsung Galaxy S4.
