Samsung electronics is reportedly working on a wearable smartphone that would be like a wristwatch while leaving no respite for Apple Inc which is also working on a similar device allegedly named iWatch to go with their line of products.

Recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy S4 is a great threat to Apple iPhone with its highly advanced features that Apple only dreams of. Analysts say that Apple is way behind in its innovation segment with its monotonous single product launch, which doesn't receive a major makeover for at least 2 years.

A source with Samsung said that the watch can work like a smartphone can. Samsung however declined to make a direct statement on the product purportedly in pipeline. "We are constantly exploring new technologies and developing various form factors," Samsung Electronics spokeswoman Chenny Kim said.

Apple was working with a similar device as the iPhone but with a curved glass. Will Samsung have a rivaling feature? Will it bring in the Samsung Yuom flexible screen? We only have to wait and see. I will surely get one if there is a watch with which I can make a call and browse internet, James Bond style!
