Car keys to become obsolete

 

Car keys are one of the most common things that a man misplaces and it happen way too often. At many times, the keys find a place so safe that you cannot retrieve them at all. To end all this troubles for you Hyundai has come up with a solution while giving all the power to you mobile phone, which is slowly becoming a major part of our lives.

Apart from being the basic mode of communication, it has become the media center, information center, navigation system, cartographer, and everything else soon.

 

In the new concept car from Hyundai, the i30 which was showcased in Germany by the Hyundai Motor Europe, they have demonstrated the ability of the NFC capable phones in unlocking the cars with just a wave of the phone near the door handle which would be equipped with a NFC tag.

This Near Field Communication tag would pick up the signals and unlock your doors. They said that within two years, car keys will no longer occupy your pocket space.

Also available in the car is a center console that allows you to wirelessly charge it and sync the media onto the car’s infotainment system.

"The Connectivity Concept showcases Hyundai's philosophy of making tomorrow's technology accessible to a wide range of customers," Allan Rushforth, the chief operating officer of Hyundai Motor Europe officer said. 

"With this technology, Hyundai is able to harness the all-in-one functionality of existing smartphone technology and integrating it into everyday driving in a seamless fashion," he added.
