Curiosity's first color 360 degree panorama

Curiosity, the latest Mars rover had landed on the red planet exactly six days ago. This is the first rover that had been sent to assess the biological aspects of the planet. With the information of the bacteria that survived in the olden days when the temperatures were not that warm, scientist at NASA wish to see how viable is life on the planet.

Initially the color camera was inside the body to be protected from the harsh, make or break landing that the space has ever witnessed. After it was landed as planned in the Galen Crater, the color cameras were wielded and the rover had sent a 360 degree panorama  picture back to Earth revealing the terrain of the land.

What the small car sized Rover would find would surely create a sensation but we have to be patient to find out the details.
