Apple iPad Mini's leaked pictures suggested that the 7inch form factor of the most sought after tablet in the electronics world has no camera on the rear side.
The picture of the new form factor which was initially opposed by Steve Jobs has a cheap look like those from Chinese companies. The back is just flat without any decoration but for the Apple logo and the iPad sticker on the back.
The characteristic curvy contour of the Apple tablets and phones is lacking. There was also no mention of the storage capacity of the tablet below the iPad name.
If the rumors are true this camera would hit the markets this September. Though most hi- end models have at least a 5MP camera people hardly use tablets as their primary camera for the bulky structure.
This could also be a trend in the market to cut down on the prices.
In the ongoing dispute in the Apple vs Samsung case, several emails have confirmed that the before death of Steve Job, he had compromised on building a 7 inch tablet.
