Sourav Ganguly to be Discharged on January 6th:- Former cricketer and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly suffered a mild heart attack and was rushed to a private hospital in Kolkata a couple of days ago. The cricket legend is recovering well and is said to be stable. The hospital authorities informed that Sourav Ganguly will be discharged on Wednesday. A team of nine expert doctors are monitoring his health condition today. They came to a conclusion that the angioplasty can be deferred as he is stable and the operation can be shifted to a later date informed Dr Rupali Vasu, the CEO and MD of Woodlands Hospital.

Several doctors held a meeting through a virtual platform and one of the experts from USA joined the discussion. This morning, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called up Sourav Ganguly over the phone and inquired about his health condition. Sourav Ganguly will take up angioplasty in the coming weeks informed the hospital authorities. His health condition would be monitored though he would be discharged. The 48-year-old Sourav Ganguly was rushed with messages from his colleagues and young cricketers. Sourav Ganguly received wishes of a speedy recovery.
