China President Xi Jinping arrived India and it is a China President's first visit to the country in years. Mr. Xi accompanied by his wife landed in Ahmedabad in Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's home state of Gujarat.

Modi and Xi will sign the several key agreements between the two countries and they are expected to be inked are likely to be on infrastructure, railways and a sister city agreement between Ahmedabad and China's Guangdong province.
