Modi Aims to Strengthen Ties With China:- India will hold the second informal summit between Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping. The event will take place in Mahabalipuram on October 11th and 12th. The External Affairs Ministry revealed the news through a brief statement about the event and said that Modi would continue to discuss about the bilateral issues and on strengthening the bond with China. Both Modi and Xi had their first informal summit in Wuhan, China on April 27th and 28th in 2018.

India recently registered a verbal protest with Beijing over the comments made by the Chines ambassador to Pakistan. It was heard that China was working for Kashmiris to get their fundamental rights. Narendra Modi is in plans to take this meeting as an opportunity to explain Xi about the reasons for scrapping Article 370 for Jammu and Kashmir. He will explain about the brutal attacks Pakistan staged over these years and how Kashmiris suffered due to the attacks.
