Amberpet MLA Kishan Reddy has been elected as Telangana BJP president when the party state council met today in Medak district. The council was led by National General Secretary of BJP Jagath Prakash and he announced Kishan Reddy's name as new BJP chief.

Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy has said, “BJP will stick to its stand in the progress of Telangana. I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for granting AIIMS college to Telangana and this shows BJP commitment towards Telangana. We will fight with government for its every anti-people decision.”

BJP floor leader Dr. Lakshman and several leaders, party workers participated in the council meeting.
