United States President Barack Obama has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Washington in September this year. The US Deputy Secretary of state William Burns met Modi at his residence in the national capital and handed Obama's invitation letter. Prime Minister has thanked President Obama for the invitation and is expected to tour in September. Modi will also attend the United Nation General Assembly session in the US.
