Sonia Gandhi Gets Fungal Infection After Covid-19:- Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi has been hospitalized after she was tested positive for coronavirus. She has been admitted to Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi and she is undergoing treatment from the past few days. The party isssued an official statement about her health and the statement told that Sonia Gandhi has been suffering with fungal infection after she was tested positive for Covid-19. Jairam Ramesh, the party's general secretary for communications told the same through a press release. Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the hospital on June 12th and she was tested positive for coronavirus on June 2nd.

Sonia Gandhi also developed profuse bleeding from her nose told the statement. Sonia Gandhi is being treated for respiratory infection. A team of expert doctors kept a close observation and she is being treated in the hospital. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are with her in the hospital and they stayed to look after their mother. Rahul Gandhi sought permission from the Enforcement Directorate to postpone the investigation. He has been questioned for 30 hours for three days after which he took a break. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate and they are asked to attend for questioning. The questioning of Sonia Gandhi got delayed after she was tested positive for coronavirus.
