Sonia Gandhi to contest from Khammam Constituency?:- Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy recently visited AICC leader Sonia Gandhi at her Delhi residence. Their purpose was to invite her to contest from the Khammam constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Additionally, they discussed the various schemes that the state government of Telangana plans to implement. During the 30-minute meeting, the leaders highlighted the success of the free bus commutes for women in Telangana, which has resulted in zero ticket revenue worth at least `15 crore since its implementation. They also briefed Sonia Gandhi on the progress made in implementing the "Six Guarantees" she had announced for Telangana. These guarantees include increasing the Arogyasri pension limit from `5 lakh to `15 lakh, providing up to 200 free units of power, and supplying domestic gas cylinders at `500 each to eligible beneficiaries.

Prior to meeting Sonia Gandhi, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Rahul Gandhi and participated in the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
