Rahul Gandhi's padayatra entered Karnataka today. His mother and Congress President Sonia Gandhi joined him and participated in the padayatra today. A video of Rahul Gandhi neeling down and helping his mom to tie her shoelace caught everyone's attention. The video is now viral across the nation. Congress official twitter handle shared the video and it went viral in no time. "There are blessings even when she breathes, no one can replace a mother as mothers are mothers." posted Shashi Tharoor who is in the race for the President of the Congress Party.

Rahul Gandhi interacted with his mother and wanted her to take a break. She took a small break and joined the padayatra soon. "We have weathered many a storm and will overcome all challenges. Together we will unite India," posted Rahul Gandhi in Hindi. Rahul Gandhi also posted the picture of him walking with his mom Sonia Gandhi. Sonia Gandhi has been unwell from sometime after she was tested positive for coronavirus. This is the first public appearance of her since 2016 after a roadshow in Varanasi. She joined Rahul Gandhi's march today in Mandya and a large number of crowds attended the march. Rahul Gandhi has plans to march for 3570 kms covering 12 states and the union territories. The march is expected to be completed in 150 days.
