Narendra Modi launches crash-course program to train 1 lakh frontline workers:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a crash-course program that will train the coronavirus frontline workers and this program is aimed to train 1 lakh frontline workers in total. Narendra Modi launched the program through a video conferencing and he said that the Centre is in plans to prepare one lakh frontline workers ready to battle coronavirus in India. Narendra Modi said that the coronavirus is still with us and asked the people to be careful and extra cautious. "The virus is still here and there is a possibility of the virus to mutate further. We have to fight with the virus and the country needs to enhance the preparedness" told Narendra Modi.

The program commences today which is designed by top experts of the country and Narendra Modi launched six new customized courses. Youngsters will be trained under this program in the fields of home care, critical care, nursing, sample collection and others. The training on technology too will be provided as per the course. Narendra Modi also said that the program will also provide employment in the health sector. The training is divided into six customized job roles named as home care support, basic care support, advanced care support, emergency care support, sample collection support, and medical equipment support.

The program is designed under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 3.0 and Rs 276 crores is allocated for the project. Narendra Modi also said that the Centre is committed to provide free coronavirus vaccines from June 21st in the country.
