Facebook Bans BJP MLA Raja Singh:- Controversial MLA and BJP leader Raja Singh has been facing the heat after Facebook banned him from violating the facebook policy for promoting hate and violence. A Facebook spokesperson said "We have banned Raja Singh from Facebook for violating our policy prohibiting those that promote or engage in violence and hate from having a presence on our platform". Facebook has been under extreme pressure after a series of incidents that triggered violence because of the social media giant. Facebook has been quite skeptical and kept a close watch on such hate speeches and all those that triggered violence.

Raja Singh is listed under 'Dangerous individuals and organizations policy' and he will not be present on the platform. Raja Singh is also banned from Instagram which is owned by facebook. The social media giant also informed that all the related pages, groups and accounts that are related to Raja Singh will be deleted. Facebook said that it will allow discussions about him on the platform. T Raja Singh in his video last month said that he owned no official facebook page. Facebook held a meeting with the Parliamentary panel for over two hours and Raja Singh's posts are cited by the members of the opposition parties.
