Narendra Modi Hints Of Extending Lockdown:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a video conference with the Chief Ministers of all the Indian states to collect the information about the current situations of coronavirus in their respective states and to take the feedback about the lockdown. Modi during his video conference asked the Chief Ministers how they want to deal with the lockdown which is planned till May 17th. He said that social distancing happened to be the biggest challenge for the country. He also asked the states to put maximum efforts t prevent the spread of coronavirus to rural areas. Modi asked the CMs to plan for the new reality. The meeting went on for six hours after it started at 3 PM.

Narendra Modi, Amit Shah along with the top cabinet of ministers were present for the conference. There are considerable relaxations in the country because of which the number of cases saw a rise. Telangana Chief Minister KCR wished to extend the lockdown though there would some relief for several activities. Narendra Modi asked the states to come up with a blueprint on how to deal with the situation and how to ease various fields. Modi wanted the health and medical systems to be strengthened. All the Chief Ministers will reveal their decision soon and Modi will announce the decision on lockdown on May 15th.
