114 Coaching Centres Seized in Hyderabad:- The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials are conducting safety drives in the city and raids have been conducted across Hyderabad. Along with Directorate of Enforcement Vigilance and Disaster Management (EVDM), GHMC seized 114 coaching centres in the city which are out of norms. Over 30 institutes have been seized in the city on Thursday as a part of the drive. On Friday, over 114 coaching centres have been seized for violating fire safety norms.

All these institutes and coaching centres have been served notices but GHMC officials received no response. 30 institues have been seized between Mehdipatnam and Gachibowli. 46 were seized in Kukatpally and KPHB. 38 other institutes have been sealed in Ashok Nagar, RTC Cross Roads, Himayatnagar, Narayanaguda and Basheerbagh.

GHMC officials have been quite strict for violating the norms. Last month in a drive, the officials removed 20,000 illegal hoardings in Ameerpet region.
