Tirupati bandh For Two Days

In the wake of a 48 hours total bandh at Tirupati, the temple town will be cut off from the world during that time as announced by Mabbu Chenga Reddy of Mabbu Yuvasena and Tirupati Employees JAC Convener Srikanth Reddy.  The pilgrims who are planning to visit Tirumala are requested to postpone their tour plan accordingly.

They said that not even a single vehicle will enter Tirupati nor leave during those 48 hours bandh that will observed on 28th and 29th.  As all business including banks will be closed, they warned that even food may not be available in Tirupati and requested to keep it in mind and also requested to cooperate in making the bandh successful.

In fact the agitators wanted to protest at Alipiri to block the way for the pilgrims visiting Tirumala.  But the TTD Employees JAC told them that the devotees visiting Tirumala are their Gods ensuring their daily bread.  Heeding to their request, the bandh organizers stopped their plan to picket at Alipiri.
