The senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao had a bad experience at Tirupati.  

When he came to know that some protesters of Samaikyandhra were waiting for him at Alipiri the foot of Tirumal hills, he sent his family members away to Tirupati and he stayed back in the cottage at Tirumala.  

After getting confirmation from the police that the situation is under control, he ventured to come down to Alipiri.  Some of the protesters whirled chappals on the vehicle of VH and some lay down on the road in front of the vehicle.  Police lathi charged and made VH’s car pass Alipiri safely after which they changed the vehicle as a precautionary measure and transported VH to Tirupati airport.  

VH talked to the media and expressed his opinion that the APNGOs will have to leave Hyderabad although others will be allowed to stay.
