The former President of India and the scientist who devised the nuclear graph of India Dr Abdul Kalaam said, corruption has to be fought from within. While addressing an event at Hyderabad, today, the former President said that the country has a populace of 100 Crores and the number of construction must be three times more. And amidst them 30 percent constructions are taken up, accrued from corrupted means.
Dr Kalaam like the first Prime Minister finds immense pleasure in the company of the young. He was attending an event organized by the St Anns Junior College, during the occasion, he spoke about the various issues that make a person virtuous. He was patient enough to interact with students on various questions posed by them. He also told that a stronger Lok Pal Bill will envisage a corruption free society.
Dr Kalaam also spoke about the imminent need for power, adding that, to depend on natural resources only is not a right proposition. Technocrats and the government must utilize the various options available like nuclear, wind, atomic and bio-gas technologies and must harness them for better power productions.
