Attack on Asaduddin Owaisi's car in UP:- AIMIM Leader Asaduddin Owaisi has been busy with the election campaign in Uttar Pradesh. Shots were fired on his car when he was returning to Delhi after completing his campaign in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. None of them in the car were injured but the car tyres got punctured. Asaduddin Owaisi revealed that he was safe. The incident took place near to a toll plaza in New Delhi in Hapur which is near to the western Uttar Pradesh. The shooters fled from the spot with the weapons left near the spot. Asaduddin Owaisi said three to four rounds of bullets were fired on his vehicle. He said that 3-4 people participated in the attack. Asaduddin Owaisi left to Delhi in one more vehicle.
There were two bullet holes to his white SUV in the video posted by Asaduddin Owaisi. The third bullet hit the tyre. Asaduddin Owaisi addressed a public meeting in Meerut and the Assembly elections are scheduled to take place on February 10th. Sachin Pandit was the man who shot Asaduddin Owaisi's car and he was taken into custody. Sachin claims to be a member of BJP. Sachin is a law student and he comes from Durai village in Badalpur of Greater Noida. After his arrest, the cops started the investigation and they are interrogating his family members. The interrogation went on for 5-6 hours last night.
