KCR in Plans for a Massive Meeting Against NRC:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR expressed his move on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC). He is all set to stage a massive public meeting in Hyderabad against the Centre's move. KCR is in plans to unite all the crucial leaders to fight against NRC. KCR held a meeting with the delegation of United Muslim Action Committee (UMAC) led by AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi at Pragathi Bhavan yesterday. The delegation had leaders of various religions and communities who met KCR. They discussed about various issues of CAA and NRC. The meeting was held for over three hours.

KCR's son KTR along with Asaduddin Owaisi will meet the Chief Ministers of various states and other national leaders for the grand meeting. KCR is also in plans to meet Congress leaders and Left party leaders for the meeting. KCR openly opposed CAA. Akbaruddin Owaisin, Pasha Khadri along with several Muslim leaders met KCR. They decided to expand their protests and not restrict themselves to Telangana. After nationwide protests, Narendra Modi and Amit Shah said that they are ready to make amendments for CAA.

On the other side, the Telangana government employees have been left in shock with the delay in the announcement of the Pay Revision Commission (PRC) benefits. With the continual of the model of conduct, the government cited reasons for the delay. With the employees waiting for a year, they will have to wait for some more time for PRC benefits.
