KCR Requests TSRTC To Put An End To The Strike:- The Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR had a discussion with the three-member committee that worked it out with the Joint Action Committee leaders of several unions in the night on Friday.

The CM requested the Telangana Transport Corporation to put an end to the strike, failing which the employees could lose their jobs.

Puvvada Ajay Kumar(State Transport Minister) spoke at the press mentioning that there would be no talks with the RTC staff and the three-member committee will not have to be a part of this. The RTC affairs will now be taken care by Sundeep Sultania.

It was Ajay’s observation that the Chief Minister was disappointed with the strike after he returned from New Delhi on Friday. KCR worked on this with the officials that day.

At present, only the buses that go to Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka are running. The other 50,000 staff of the state road corporation didn’t work from October 5th.

To compensate with this disturbance of not having a bus service facility, Hyderabad Metro trains are running every three minutes. It has been decided that the Metro trains would start from 5am in the morning and run until midnight to manage the situation.

Private bus drivers and auto drivers are making the most of this struggle and charging a bomb for transport fares. There have been temporary bus drivers hired to support during this hard time. The officials are striving to make this work during the strike as well.
