KCR Announces Rs 25 Cr Aid For Kerala:- The Southern state Kerala has been badly hit with the heavy rains which left the state in floods and land slides. The normal life has been badly hit and lakhs of people turned homeless. The Telangana Government announced a financial help of Rs 25 crores for the badly hit state. Chief Minister KCR directed the Chief Secretary SK Joshi so that the amount reaches the state immediately. KCR even asked the officials to dispatch Reverse Osmosis (RO) machines worth Rs 2.5 crore.

KCR even asked the businessmen, IT companies and industrialists to donate their part for Kerala so that it turns a helping hand. KCR expressed that the state would return back to normal soon. He expressed his grief for the deceased in the Kerala rains. "Telangana Foods (a state govt enterprise) is dispatching 100 metric tonnes of ‘Balamrutham’ (nutritious food manufactured especially for children) costing Rs 52.5 lakh to Kerala to feed the flood-stranded children of Kerala" said a statement from Chief Minister's Office.
