Tata Tech to invest Rs 1500 Cr in Telangana:- Telangana continues to attract investments as Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy successfully convinces numerous investors of the state's growth potential. This was evident at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where Revanth engaged in discussions with Tata Sons chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran about the group's current and future business endeavors in Telangana. A notable player in the state's IT sector, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) employs over 80,000 individuals in Hyderabad, solidifying its position as one of the largest IT employers in the region.

During these talks, Tata Technologies Limited (TTL) made an announcement regarding its commitment to invest approximately Rs 1,500 crore in establishing advanced skilling centers across 50 government ITIs. Additionally, they will deploy master trainers to facilitate the training of individuals in these new courses. The Tata Group also expressed its plans to expand its Air India fleet and enhance domestic and international connections from Hyderabad, envisioning the city as a vital transit hub.

Revanth expressed his satisfaction with the partnership between TTL and the government, emphasizing the establishment of advanced tech centers in government ITIs. He also extended a warm welcome to TTL to join the initiative in establishing dedicated skill universities in Telangana.

In a move to expand globally and enter the Indian market, SIGH has announced its intention to establish a manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. This facility will focus on producing various devices that are not currently manufactured in India, aiming to make healthcare more affordable. The investment for this project is estimated to be around Rs 231.5 crore over the next two to three years. The Chief Minister has pledged full support from the state government to assist SIGH in this endeavor. The initial phase will involve the manufacturing of general surgical instruments, precision surgical instruments for micro-surgeries, orthopaedic power tools, dermatomes for maxo surgery, ophthalmic instruments, and minimal invasive surgery. In the subsequent phase, the company plans to expand its production to include robotic medical devices.
