The government have to regularise paramedical employees who were recruited 13 years ago and also announce PRC to them.”

Employees added “the government did not implement the Minimum Wages Act and is dodging the issue and planning to get rid of the workers rather than regularising their services. They are also getting threatening calls from higher-ups to call off the stir or face the axe. They said that no action had been taken despite taking the issue to the notice of Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.”

KGGH medical superintendent Y Nageswara Rao said that they “deputed staff from other wings in place of striking employees. The outsourcing employees were recruited without any order of merit or roster system, the wage revision is not applicable for them. He said that they were paying the wages of outsourcing staff from NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme (formerly Arogya Sri) as the government is not paying their wages.”
