TRS exploits BPS/LRS to win GHMC polls!

A few of the TRS party leaders are reportedly trying to exploit Building Penalisation Scheme(BPS) and Layout Regularisation Scheme(LRS) to win GHMC polls.

TRS party is now the strongest one in Telangana and any party competing with it, might find tough time.

In spite of this range of position in the state, a few of the TRS leaders like T Padma Rao Goud, Nayani Narasimha Reddy and Mohd Mahmood Ali are trying to exploit BPS and LRS scheme, to win in the upcoming GHMC elections.

During YS Rajasekhar Reddy's government in the united Andhra Pradesh state, in 2007,  80000 illegal buildings and several thousands of other illegal layouts have come up in GHMC limits, after Reddy introduced BPS/LRS in the state.

Following in the same route, now the TRS leaders are sending feelers to the representatives of the colony associations, that are dominated by Seemandhra voters.

Regarding this, the Telangana government is assuring them to adopt a 'liberal approach' towards them in regularizing their illegal layouts and buildings, if they vote for TRS in the GHMC elections. Otherwise, they are even reportedly warning, to face the serious consequences, if they vote for the other parties.

Currently, it seems the ministers are extending the deadlines for the launch of BPS/LRS with an intention of creating a panic among the settlers in Hyderabad, as the GHMC elections are nearing.

YSRCP and TDP are keen to prove in GHMC polls

On the other side, even the opposition parties are trying out their best to participate in the GHMC elections and prove themselves in the Telangana state. Especially YSRCP, who faced the allegations saying that, it lost form in Telangana, is keen on getting good number of seats.

Even TDP is trying its level best to win in the elections, but before GHMC polls, senior leaders like Sudha Rani, Rayapati seems quite unhappy with the TDP are in a thought of quitting the party.

If that turn true, it would be a tight jolt to TDP and might find tough in the upcoming GHMC elections. So it should be seen, how come TDP overcomes the problem and contests in the elections.
