Pawan warning workouts, land pooling paused

Andhra Pradesh government seems stepping back in the land pooling issue, after Pawan’s warning to the government in the farmers meet.

Needless to say Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s support to TDP, in the 2014 elections, is one of the key reasons, for the party to form the government in AP.

But as time passed, Pawan expressed his unhappiness on a few proposals of AP government. Especially, Pawan expressed his strictness against the AP government, who is trying to apply the land acquisition act to the multi cropped farmers.

Regarding this, he recently conducted a public meeting with the farmers of Undavalli, Penumaka and a few other villages. Various farmers complained to Pawan, the problems they are facing from the AP government, regarding land pooling.

After hearing to their problems, in the same meeting, Pawan Kalyan said to the government, to not to force any farmer for land pooling and can take the land only if they are willing to give. He even said to strike against the AP government, if they force the farmers and grab their lands.

TDP not in a position to go against Pawan Kalyan

Keeping in mind, Pawan’s immense popularity among the farmers and the youth, to comb Pawan, as of now, it paused land acquisition second notification, which is supposed to announce tomorrow.

On the other hand, YSRCP Jagan already announced ‘Deeksha’ tomorrow, on AP special status issue. At this point, if it moves forward with land pooling, it would naturally be a strong point to YSRCP, to corner the government. To avoid such risks, as of now, TDP steps back with the land pooling.

Currently, municipal administration minister P Narayana and Agriculture Minister P Pulla Rao, who look after land procurement for the new capital, started explaining the farmers and the villagers, the benefits they get, after surrendering the lands. In fact, this plan is also given by Pawan Kalyan.
