MLC candidates from TRS, listed

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari and minister Thummala Nageshwara Rao were finalized as the candidates from TRS party to contest in MLC (Member of Legislative Council) elections. Both the candidates are going to file the nomination by 11am, on Thursday.

Till the midnight of Wednesday, many discussions were held about the selection of the candidates for MLC elections from TRS party. According to the intellectuals, TRS is expected to get 4 seats, 1 seat for Congress and BJP-TDP 1 seat. But it seems to be like, TRS is concentrating on the fifth seat too, and now decided to make one of the party's contestant to contest for that fifth seat.

Kadiyam and Thummala confirmed as contestants

As Kadiyam and Thummala are holding the powers without being the members of both the houses, so, the officials thought that, they would be the right candidates to contest for MLC elections..

Other contestants from TRS

After the 2014 elections, the Congress party candidate MLC Yadava Reddy, who joined in TRS is confirmed as one of the candidates. Rest others are B. Venkateshwarlu who joined into TRS from the TDP party, Srinivas Reddy, who is the TRS Party office official and Congress MLC member 'Nethi Vidyasagar' are going to file the nomination.

Vidya Sagar is considered under Governor quota?

If the reports are to be believed, the officials are planning to nominate 'Nethi Vidyasagar' as MLC under Governor quota. But, if the plan does not work out properly, then he would be considered under MLC quota itself as the fourth candidate.

Srinivas Reddy nomination pending?

If this happens, then Venkateshwarlu would be considered for the fifth position and thus, Srinivas Reddy's nomination would be in pending. But if the party strongly decides that Vidya Sagar's nomination would be under Governor quota itself, then Venkateshwarlu in fourth and Srinivas Reddy will be confined to fifth position.

However, the official decision regarding this, would be taken by Telangana Chief Minister KCR, the officials clarified.
