Telangana Chief Minister KCR said that TRS government is not going to compromise on OU lands at any cost.
 
Not only concrete structure, but the greenery is also important-KCR
 
On Tuesday, as part of the 'Swachh Hyderabad' campaign, CM visited different localities in Secunderabad and opined that the city is completely filled with concrete structures without greenery. A proper care has to be taken regarding planting the trees in the colonies and on the roads too.

After listening to the grievances of the local residents, KCR has directed the officials to take appropriate steps for removal of garbage in the drains, laying roads and setting up bus shelters and also for controlling the menace of eve-teasers .

Oppositions are encouraging OU students-KCR

Reminding about the OU students criticism on him, CM opined, “it should noted that government or KCR cannot create the lands and now a days, the land has become very precious, so, the available land should be utilized efficiently. Only a part of the OU land would be taken by the government for the construction of the houses”.

“Few of the opposition parties are supporting the OU students as they are against me. Instead, it is those parties and leaders who are encouraging the students to burn my effigies. They did not bother about the poor when they are in power and now they wanted me to do the same. Whatever the situations are, there is no question of going back in this issue, I am ready to face any consequences for the proper justice to the poor”, KCR strongly said.

Universities do not need thousands of acres-KCR

“Universities do not need thousands of acres of land. In an urban area, every inch should be used very efficiently,” he further added

“When a proposal of 500 acres of land was made for a horticulture university by the central government, I said to PM Modi that, 50 acres would be enough and he accepted it. Houses for about two lakh poor in Hyderabad would be built in a phased manner,” he strictly said and ended.
