The results of the JEE(Main) will be announced on April 27 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). All the candidates who were appeared for the exam can view their results on the JEE official main website jeemain.nic.in .

It is to be noted that there would not be any other intimation of the result by the institute in any other process like mailing the rank card or score card. So all the candidates should check the official website for the result and all the other regular updates.

It was known that the exam was conducted in both offline and online modes on April 4 and April 10 & 11 respectively. This year nearly 13 lakh students had appeared for the examination. There is not much change in the number of students who appeared for the exam, the figure is almost nearer to the previous year figures.  

Basing on the scores of the examination, nearly, top 150000 candidates will be shortlisted. Then those candidates will appear for JEE Advanced, which is scheduled on May 24, 2015.

Basing on the results, the selected candidates will finally be admitted into undergraduate engineering programmes offered by all 16 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad.
