Congress looking at Hindu leaders

The Indian National Congress has no clue on how to win back the people's trust and so it is looking at new strategies to tackle its main rival Bharatiya Janata Party. According to the highly placed sources, Congress high command has sent directions to all the states to welcome upper caste Hindu leaders in the party who have more influence among the common public.

This idea was proposed by former Defence minister AK Antony and the Congress leadership too endorsed it. Abiding by the instructions from the high command, Congress leaders in all the states are currently looking out for upper caste Hindus especially from the Brahmin community. Sources also said that Congress might form a wing called Bharatiya Hindu Samaj [BHS] which would act like Vishwa Hindu Parishad [VHP] for the BJP.  Congress wants to use this wing and gain the upper caste leaders and peoples trust.

However, only few senior leaders within the Congress have idea about this new strategy. Congress wants to make a silent approach in gaining the upper edge over the BJP in attracting the Hindus at the same time, wants to maintain the balance with the Minorities. Is Congress trying to shed its secular image? Well, the situation appears so.

The Congress party will initially test this strategy in Karnataka and if it succeeds, it would implement in other states too.
