Uttarakhand CM Bahuguna resigns

Ending the speculation of quitting the post of Chief Minister, Uttarkhand CM Vijay Bahuguna resigned early today. Bahuguna has sent his resignation letter to Governor and Union minister Harish Rawat, who represents Haridwar in the Lok Sabha is likely to be named as the new CM of Uttarakhand.

Bahuguna is under fire of handling the relief works of Uttarkhand floods very badly and as a result the public voted against his son Saket in the by-election to the Tehri Lok Sabha constituency. With upcoming general elections, the Congress party is not taking anymore chances and is shuffling all the leaders who are alleged of anything against the welfare of public.
