Azad to take over AP charges?

Congress High Command is considering to change the incharge of Andhra Pradesh and Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is likely to replace Digvijay Singh. Azad has much experience in handling AP and many leaders do have close relations with him. Whereas Digvijay has been bit stubborn on the Telangana issue and even few Seemandhra leaders expressed their displeasure with high command.

Also as elections are fast approaching, Congress is seriously taking all measures into account to get back into power for the third consecutive time. Andhra Pradesh is quite vital for Congress and with division of state, it is estimating to retain power in Telangana region.

Azad has good rapport with Telangana leaders and he has been continuously supporting Telangana statehood at High command. But Congress is no rush to push things, as the Telangana Bill gets approval in Parliament then major changes would take place said insiders of the party.
