An Indignant KCR Speaks Out!

In the press meet held at Telangana Bhawan KCR talks about the way he and Sonia Gandhi were depicted as demons by Seemandhra people and all types of name calling was resorted to in spite of his repeated requests not to do that.  KCR says that they continue performing last rites and scolding him in spite of his plea to maintain restraint.

Now when I say only demons are expected in Lanka, KCR explains, it is only a proverb in Telangana.  It doesn’t mean that Andhra people are demons.

He said that Ashok Babu is talking like a street fighter.  Is it ethical and proper to talk that way questions KCR.  KCR alleges that CPI and BJP always are on a look out to comment on whatever he says.  He was referring to Narayana of CPI and Dattatreya of BJP commenting on his observations about the Samaikyandhra movement.  KCR questions what about the derogative comments made by Anam Viveka.  Did they sound as music or hymns to Dattatreya?

When we are called demons it is ok and when I take a proverb it is not ok at all to any, KCR asks showing bewilderment.  When they wear masks and hit effigies with arrows and are all those cheap exhibitions quite in order questions KCR in the media meet.  KCR also asks whether Vijayamma and Sharmila can call Telangana as Pakistan.

KCR simply gave the impression in the press conference at Telangana Bhawan that he too is a human being and he has sentiments and repeated insults cannot be taken at his stride.  Finally he also said that the delay in the decision after the bifurcation is announced only tends to increase the differences further.  To avoid further damage only solution is to introduce a Bill in the parliament and pass it without further delay.

The meeting is attended by Eetela Rajender, Kadiam Srihari, K Keshava Rao and others.
