Telangana Polls: Congress To Contest In 90 Constituencies:- Telangana Assembly elections have been scheduled to take place on December 7th and Congress, TDP, CPI and TJS formed Mahakutami to contest in the upcoming polls. There has been a series of discussions about the allocation of seats which could not be finalized after a series of attempts. Now the leading Congress party has come to a conclusion to contest in 90 constituencies. Congress will also take over the major constituencies in the state revealed a source.
Telangana Congress Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy flew to New Delhi for a meeting with the party high command after which the final decision has been taken. TDP will contest in 15 segments while TJS will contest in 10 seats. CPI will have 4 segments left to contest. TDP is quite happy and is focused in the 15 allotted seats. TJS too is comfortable contesting in 10 constituencies. CPI has no options left and will continue to contest in the 4 constituencies.
