Huzurnagar Bypoll: CPI Withdraws Support For TRS:- With the ongoing TSRTC strike and the Telangana government not reluctant to call off the strike, the leading party has been facing the heat from the people of the state. Prior to this, TRS requested CPI leaders to extend their support in the Huzurnagar bypoll. After a series of discussions, CPI decided to withdraw their support for TRS in the Huzurnagar bypoll which is scheduled to take place on October 21st. CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy announced the party's decision at Makhdoom Bhavan in Hyderabad, the party's headquarters. The CPI leaders conducted a series of meetings on supporting TRS.

Chada Venkat Reddy said that removing 48,000 TSRTC employees is something unusual and this developed an anti-employee attitude. TRS government failed to close the talks because of which two employees committed suicide said Chada Venkat Reddy. After reviewing the situation, CPI decided to withdraw their support. CPI is not contesting in the Huzurnagar bypoll and is neutral as of now. The bypoll is necessitated by the resignation of state Congress chief Uttam Kumar Reddy from Assembly following his election to Lok Sabha from Nalgonda constituency. TRS, TDP and Congress took this bypoll prestigiously. The counting would take place on October 23rd.
