Samaikyandhra Movement in Ananthapur completed 37 days but still the intensity is intact. All Government and private educational institutions are totally closed. RTC workers are continuing their strike. Government employees of different departments have camped in front of their respective office to observe relay fasting.
Laksha Galarchana (voice of one lakh people) was organized in which students, employees and general public joined to participate in the program. Doctors and hospital staff of Guntakal protested against the harassments to the Andhra doctors at Hyderabad.
The plans are being made to take the movement further in the district in an effective way. Government Employees of all departments are preparing to attend “Save Andhra Pradesh” program at Hyderabad on Saturday. They are making special transport arrangements for this purpose.
Simha Garjana organized on Thursday received very good response photos of which gives an idea of the enthusiasm shown by people from all walks of life in the district of Ananthapur to keep the State united.
