Andhra Pradesh Cheif Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has notified that all election preparations must be completed before the end of this month. With the panchayat elections coming up, he has his hands full until the end of September. Municipal elections are about to follow immediately.

In relation to this, the CM has insisted that all work should roll smoothly for the elections. He intends to initiate a good amount of development work between 1st and 15th August.  Also he wants to lay the foundation for all pending work within this time.

While the elections begin, he intends to make a strong point to the Centre to prevent a split of the state. He is fervently against the formation of Telangana state with plans to warn the Congress core committee of agitation in Seemandhra when he meets them next week in case of any pro-Telanagana decisions. Until now, the Congress party has managed to confuse all about its intentions of Andhra.
