The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has stepped into action regarding Telangana government's comprehensive household survey which is slated on August 19th.  Home Ministry officials have asked the TS government to send a detailed report on the survey and its implications.

Complaints from several political parties, public representatives knocked the Home Ministry door regarding this survey while Telugu Desam government is seriously opposing this survey. It accused the TS government of threatening Seemandhra people in Telangana and Hyderabad, indirectly making them to move out of the region.
