Win here and lose there

Win here and lose there

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh congratulated Congress party leaders and workers who worked hard in Karnataka to make its win possible.  Sonia Gandhi expressed her happiness over the results.  With a clean sweep the Congress party is crossing the magic figure of 113 and heading for a thumping majority leaving BJP crest fallen.  It surely is a win for Congress Party altogether.

But it is lost in the Supreme Court.  CBI admitted in Supreme Court and the draft report of Coalgate was changed as per the suggestions of Union Law Minister Ashwani Kumar, Attorney General G.E.Vahanvati and officials of Prime Minister’s office.

The same way BJP has been demanding resignation of the Prime Minister and Law minister on the issues of coal scam and interference in the investigations of CBI.  Today Lok sabha is adjourned sine die in the uproar of criticisms and demands of the opposition party.  Their point of view is supported by the CBI’s admission in Supreme Court.

But it lost in Karnataka Assembly elections in a humiliating manner fighting for second position at least.  All the statements given by them and criticisms targeting Congress Party have failed to get the expected results for them.

Situation in the Country is neither giving satisfaction to the ruling party nor to the opposition party.  It all indicates that a third alternative may be welcomed by the people of India in next elections.
