Uproar in Parliament again

Soon after Parliament proceeded to transact at 11.00 am, BJP started protest demanding resignation of the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Law Minister Aswani Kumar and Railway Minister P.K.Bansal.  In spite of the Speaker Meira Kumar’s request to calm down and to please cooperate, BJP stalled the proceedings and the Parliament was adjourned till 12.00 pm.

Rajya Sabha witnessed similar scenes with BJP demanding Manmohan Singh’s resignation and Rajya Sabha Chairman Hameed Ansari adjourned till 12.00.

Disruption in both the houses has been going on since beginning of the Budget Sessions with BJP protesting against the Government on Coal Blocks and 2G spectrum allocations and recently added P.K.Bansal’s involvement in the bribe received by his nephew.  That way demands for the resignations of the Prime Minister for the irregularities in the Coal Blocks Allocation and the Law Minister for his interference in the CBI report on the irregularities are added with P.K.Bansal’s resignation for the alleged bribe receiving through his nephew Sangla.

Last time the Union budget and the Railway budget were passed by the Government when the opposition parties walked out.  Now one more important bill is pending to be introduced in the house i.e., Food Protection Bill and opposition parties are not allowing the ruling party to introduce it.
