Telangana Bill on Feb 10th to Rajya Sabha

The government of India is no mood to compromise on the formation of separate state of Telangana and is making its steps accordingly. Yesterday's consequences clearly state that the Telangana Bill will be introduced in this sessions of Parliament.

Journey of T-Bill:

Yesterday in the afternoon, group of Ministers met in the North Block and have finalized the final graft that to be place before the cabinet. The reliable sources say that on February 6th the union cabinet will approve the draft bill and are likely to send it President of India, Pranab Mukherjee on February 7th. After President's approval, the bill will be placed before the Rajya Sabha and then it will move to Lok Sabha.

Home Minister asks Lok Sabha Speaker

Meanwhile Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has asked the permission of Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar to allot time for the Telangana Bill in Parliament. On February 10th the bill will be introduced in Rajya Sabha and accordingly, Sushil Kumar requested for time allotment. But the main logic behind the placing the Telangana Bill in Rajya Sabha is as less number of MPs from Seemandhra region represent in the Upper house, the bill is likely to get a nod without any hurdle. And in Lok Sabha, if the main opposition blames the government and rejects the bill, the Congress party is ready to hold BJP responsible for the whole episode.

Overall Congress party is cleverly tapping its every move very carefully.
