A good deal of Congress MP's from the state have been escalated from the state to Center in the recent reshuffle of the Cabinet. However, merely having more Cabinet ministers for AP is not an indicator of growth of the state in the respective fields. The Center MPs have not benefitted AP majorly with their presence at the Center. Even recently we were not given the gas supply to generate electricity which would culminate our power problems to a certain extent. However, one exception is Chiranjeevi.

Chiranjeevi has managed to do a lot for AP in terms of tourism development. Recently in a Kakatiya festival he has brought the city of Warangal the coveted title of Heritage City. Reports say that he will soon bring several projects favoring AP for which a huge budget of Rs 1000 Crores is being allocaed.

Looking at the same story from a different perspective, we should also notice that this will bring him lots of name and fame. If the projects even begin before the general elections 2014, you can expect a lot of support for Chiranjeevi. One might even speculate that his propensity to supporting projects for the home state might have an ulterior motive.
