Several persons were injured, some of them seriously when a Shiridi-bound AP tourism bus was involved in an accident at Basavakalyan in Bidar district of Karnataka last night.The AP tourism bus, which left Hyderabad in the evening, was hit by a tanker vehicle coming in the opposite direction around 1 am resulting in injuries to the tourists. More details of the accident are yet to come in.
Reports said senior officials of the Bidar district have rushed to the spot to oversee relief and rescue operations and get the injured into hospitals.
