MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi, who left for London after making inflammatory speeches, arrived in Hyderabad today. While Nirmal police summoned him to appear before him in connection with the derogatory speeches, Akbaruddin has sent two of his counsels and explained to the police (through lawyers) that he was unable to appear in person before them over his ill-health. He has also requested four days of time to appear in person at Nirmal police station as directed by the police. Also, he was said to have stressed that he would not skip any date, as mentioned by the police, for further interrogation over the speeches.

It has to be mentioned here that Akbaruddin gave inflammatory speeches in a public meeting in Nirmal in the last week of December. He terming terrorist Kasab as wo bachcha (that kid) had triggered a controversy across the nation with national media plunging into the action and taking on Akbaruddin Owaisi and all the leaders who have been giving hate speeches time and again. Following the uproar and subsequent police case filed in the Parliamentary Street police station, Andhra Pradesh police too took up the matter seriously and summoned Akbaruddin Owaisi.
