Ever since the Congress and  All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen parted ways, it was pathetic time for the Owasi siblings. The fortune wheel of the siblings who were undaunted till then, started moving on the negative side of the number line. And the latest is the worst of the lot, it is about the 2.5 acres land in Midhani, Hyderabad.

The ruling party in a bitter move recovered the land and put up a sign board that it belongs to the government. Actually the land was first allotted to the Owasi sibling to build a hospital. But later due to profound opposition from the Left parties, the land was supposed to be recovered by the government.

However, good offices between the two parties kept the issue in abeyance and the brothers had huge plans to corner the lucrative plot. But the government which had lately woken up on the issue, immediately issued orders for recovering the disputed land and put the government board on the site. Another pitfall for the Owasi clan.

The older Asaduddin Owaisi is an MP of the MIM party and the junior  Akbaruddin Owaisi is the  Chandrayangutta MLA from the same party. They had an unopposed dominance in the old city prior to the conflict. However the parting of ways with Congress, put the duo in immense problems, they were even arrested for various impending issues.

Once friends are today's foes, which proves that friends are saved while enemies are bitterly dealt with, when in power, claim critics. (Wishesh AarKay)
