A petition has been filed in Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking the details of the amount spend and the way how so much amount was procured. The petitioner sought the court to probe the issue on funds for his daughter's wedding. Also, it was prayed to ascertain as to how much money was spent on public representative who have attended the wedding of Botsa's daughter.

It may be noted that a leading English daily recently published an article on Botsa Satyanarayana's daughter and stated that lakhs of rupees were spent just on transportation of minister. The article even reported that leaders held review meetings in Visakhapatnam only to attend wedding of PCC chief's daughter.
