MoS Purandareshwari has been allotted textiles ministry (independent charge). There has been buzz since morning that she would be elevated. Finally Centre took this step. The sources said that centre was in a plan to make her a cabinet minister. But then sources said it was due to Kavuri's resignation, the centre stopped her elevation.
